Le Cannet villa ideal Cannes centre for festivals/family stay with private pool, parking, enclosed garden/patio and walking distance to shops, restaurants.

La Vignette is a bourgeois tranquil Villa, ideal for families or festival stay. A Charming Villa in a quiet residential area in Le Cannet. Perfectly located, just 5 minutes walking distance to the historic village centre where there is a stunning view over the coast of Cannes. The Palm bus (5 minutes walking distance) offers an easy and quick transfer to Cannes. Taxi/Uber offers a 12 minute rides to Cannes/Palais des Festival.centrally situated for easy access on foot to Le Cannet centre and by public transport to central Cannes.

There are 4 double bedrooms, 2 with en suite and further shower room. Further separate WC ground floor. ( One bedroom is ground floor and with only a couple of steps at the main entrance door could suit those partially handicapped.)

Open plan kitchen/ dining / salon area with comfortable sofas & modern furnishings all newly purchased last year.. Kitchen is modern with high gloss white and grey units, hob, oven, large American fridge/freezer and small breakfast table for two! Breakfast bar open to dining area to seat 8, Patio door + salon windows look out over the pool and provide excellent access in and out of the villa and for supervising children in the pool. Alarm fitted to pool for security. The pool has just been completely re-furbished and renovated in 2019 with new aquamarine mosaic and is surrounded by paved sun-bathing areas as well as astro-turf in shady areas under tropical trees. Pool and garden immaculately maintained. Laundry and drying facilities in the lower part of the villa. Barbecue, hammock, and sun-loungers in secluded dining area in paved rear courtyard.

The villa has lounging areas for sun-bathing and the pool is not over-looked. Fenced garden with remote control gates for car entrance. Parking for 2+ cars, at least one in open garage and two more on driveway.

The open plan kitchen has access to the cosy rear garden with BBQ, hammock, sun lounger and dining table under a shady patio.
The spacious and light dining area/living room are both facing the pool and terrace. The living room is equipped with two huge, comfortable sofas. Through a large patio door you have access to the pool (not overlooked) and the front terrace with more sun beds and lounge sofas. There is an outdoor shower and toilet next the pool. The house is surrounded by huge hedges. The fenced garden has remote controlled gates for the car entrance. There is space for two cars in front of the garage. Garden and pool are regularly maintained.

Area activities

All necessary shops and restaurants can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. On the main road (High street) of Le cannet, the "Boulevard Sadi Carnot” you can find a pharmacy, bakery, butcher, fish monger, fruit shops, newspaper shop, local supermarket, and further on restaurants, cafes, bistros, hairdresser, laundries, book shop etc. etc. Not to forget the famous Musee de Bonnard!

There are a few really good restaurants on top of the hill in the old village centre, where you have a stunning view over Cannes and where you can spend amazing evenings in the open air! All in walking distance. The next big Casino supermarket with a great variety of food and wine is in Cannes, Boulevard d’Alsace.

You will soon see that you don’t need a car to reach all you need for a lovely holiday at the Cote d'Azur.

Le Cannet is the upper area of Cannes so that the town centre is easily reachable by a frequent bus service straight down Boulevard Carnot to the station, main bus station, beaches, port and the unforgettable Croisette with the Palais de Festivals, Carlton, Martinez, night clubs and the general buzz that is always Cannes! The Rue d'Antibes and the Croisette have every designer shop imaginable and restaurants both gourmet, seafood specialities and just simple brasseries abound in Cannes. Le marché Forville opens every day for fresh and "vibrant" shopping of food, fish and flowers.

From the port you can take boat trips to the IIes de Lérins famous on St Marguerite for having been the prison for the "Man in the Iron Mask" with an interesting museum and gallery. On the other Ile called St Honorat discover the working monastery of the monks. Both islands can be visited by the same ferry and take the opportunity to see Cannes from the sea and swim off the rocky shores with clear water. Cannes abounds in history and glamour so also Le Suquet is worth a visit and do not overlook the old town of Le Cannet within walking distance from the villa, up the cobbled slope behind the Mairie to the square that has panoramic views over the whole of Cannes. Excellent restaurants here and often live entertainment.

Inland places to visit are Grasse and its perfumeries, Mougins, a perched hilltop village with artist galleries, St Paul de Vence, a walled perched village where many well-known celebrities have secondary residences, Gourdon for the magnificent views and ancient village, Eze just for the Chèvre d'Or restaurant ! Plus Nice on a Sunday morning for the flower market and its parades, Ventimiglia just over the border for its Friday market or Bordighera for its Thursday market. Then venture in a trip along the coast to St Tropez to "strut" with the Bardot look-alikes and enjoy another famous venue with its allure as a "must-see" with club 55 on Pamelonne beach. Vineyards in the Var are also an excellent excursion for tasting and just to see the scenery and clarity of light that attracted the impressionist painters such as Van Gogh, Renoir, Matisse, Monet and many more.

  2. Data entered into the booking form, for example name, email address, real address is stored for a maximum of 365 days after the booking's departure date. This information is stored in encrypted form in our database so that only authorised people can view it. If you make a booking then by law we must store your PII whilst the booking is valid. Once the booking has completed, either because it has been cancelled or you have been checked out, then you will be able to exercise your RTBF by logging in and visiting the "Your data" page. Invoice information for completed bookings will still be securely stored in our database to ensure that we abide by relevant tax laws but you will be able to remove all other PII after the booking is completed.
  3. When you consent to your information being stored as described above, we are legally obliged to store this consent in our database. This information will include your IP number and the content of the opt-in form. We will retain this consent notification indefinately (this is a legal requirement).
