| The area has beautiful scenery and is very residential with hill walks and bike trails in the Esterel National Park directly behind the villa domaine. There is one local general store within a 10 minute walk, and some very good restaurants in the bay nearby of La Figuerette and even more shops and boutiques in Théoule sur Mer village, which is only a 15 minute drive or a pleasant 40 minute walk over the hills. Facilities in the bay include some water sports, with Théoule providing parasailing, water skiing and trips to the Iles de Lérins from the jetty or trips along the Esterel coast. There are local bus & train services giving access to the resorts along the coast, with the local train station at Le Trayas only a 20 minute walk away. A little further is Cannes with its chic atmosphere, Grasse and the perfumeries, the perched hilltop villages of Tourrettes sur Loup and Gourdon, Monaco is only just over an hour away and the same to St. Tropez...an ideal location where the whole area has so much to offer. |
| Les Deux Délices – offers the two delights of sun & sea, with uninterrupted sea views from the south facing balcony & terrace. The villa overlooks the unspoilt bay of La Figurette with its golden sandy beach and amazing red rock coastal scenery – it is just a 5 minute walk through the pleasant gardens of the domaine to the beach, or to a secluded rocky cove. On the upper floor of the villa is the kitchen, compact and well-equipped with dishwasher, hob and electric oven and fridge/ freezer. This leads into the large sunny salon with dining and sitting areas, and with a private screened alcove with either a second sofa or convertible sofa bed to make the occasional third bedroom. WC on this level. In the salon there is a T.V., radio/CD player and plenty of books (English & French) and large French windows opening onto a covered dining terrace that has superb views and which is fully south-facing. |
| Accessed from the salon by a wooden spiral staircase is the main double bedroom with en suite bathroom with W.C., bath with shower over and vanity basin that occupants of the third occasional bedroom would share (except W.C.). |
| Going down to the lower terrace via the external steps, there is an extremely large independent double bedroom/salon ( twin beds ) with a very spacious shower room with separate cubicle, W.C., vanity basin and washing machine. Small sitting area so that people could be independent of the same party above. Breakfast tea-making facilities. Large south-facing terrace in front of this section of the villa with two loungers, cushions and parasol. Same panoramic views as above. |
| There is a large parking space reserved near the villa, and a shared small pool with sun-lounging areas, and ping pong table and petanque area in the gardens. Private access gate to the domaine and within 5 minute walking distance to restaurants, beach and the one local supermarket. An ideal place for 2 couples to be independent, family of 4 and grandparents - plenty of flexibiltity for 4 or 6 people. |
