La Chaumière, or the 'Little Cottage', is part of the larger Villa St Charles, a prestigious villa in the heart of Juan les Pins, and is a completely independent section of the villa benefiting from all the main facilities of the individual villa but at an apartment price, mainly because tenants of the whole villa share the pool and often end up having barbecues and evenings together, but there is still the privacy not to do that if you do not wish to because of the way the grounds and villa are divided.
La Chaumière has its own covered terrace for dining out, private from the next part of the villa. Entrance is independent into the salon/living area with kitchenette. Three steps upwards from the salon is the first bedroom with double bed, rear view window and access to the second smaller twin bedded room and shower room with W.C., basin and bidet. Access to the second twin bedroom, if needed, can be through the French windows at the front so that occupants of either bedroom do not intrude on the other. Both bedrooms have independent access to the shower room and WC.
The facilities of the pool, main gardens boules court and table tennis are shared with the other occupants in the villa, in the sections of the East wing in Les Palmiers and in the West wing of the Maison de Maître. Having two independent accesses via automatically-controlled gateways to the property means that no-one intrudes on another’s privacy.
The furnishings throughout are light, modern and Provençal colours reflecting the clarity of the Mediterranean palette. Within walking distance of everything in the heart of one of the most sought-after places on the Côte d’Azur, there is little need ever to move or take out the car. If you are travelling without transport, the local station is 15 minutes’ walk, buses are less than 300 metres away, the airport only 25 minutes ( via airport bus if required ) and yet you are still in a residential and peaceful area in the hub of the Riviera.
The villa is ideally situated for the nightlife of Juan les Pins, the wonderful boutiques, excellent restaurants and superb beaches with every kind of water sport within a short walk. Antibes with its ancient ramparts and interesting old town adjoins Juan les Pins and provides antique and artesian markets, quaint alleys, magnificent marina, historical sites and the famous Picasso museum. A superb and unforgettable venue.
La Chaumière can be let in conjunction with Les Palmiers, the other part of the West wing of Villa St Charles, for groups of 10. See Les Palmiers, sleeping 6. The whole of Villa St. Charles can be booked with all three sections of the villa internally linked. When the villa is booked in separate sections, the facilities of the grounds and pool are shared. Garden is illuminated in the evening. Pool is 9 x 4.5 metres, Roman steps and Boules Court.

When booking or reserving your holiday accommodation (either via our website booking system, contact form, or by telephone), it is important to note that your booking is not secure until we have confirmed it with the owners. We never accept bookings before receiving owners' acceptance and confirmation of bookings. We advise clients not to pay for any form of travel arrangements until we have formally confirmed your booking either by email or fax. In order to to speed up your reservation for accommodation, we would be grateful if clients booking 7 days or less, would kindly tick the box labelled 'Single Week Supplement' on the booking form. Arrival & Departure Days:
Bookings normally run from Saturday to Saturday, although several owners do now accept mid-week bookings. So, if you prefer arriving on a weekday, please click on the 'Contact Owner' button to make your request. We'll do our best to accommodate your wishes.
Rental Prices:
Are quoted in GBP (Pounds Sterling) per week and include:
- Normal use of electricity, water & gas
- End of stay cleaning
- Pool and garden maintenance
- One set of linen & towels is included for each person booked to stay at a villa, and the beds will be made-up before your arrival
- Meeting you on arrival and showing you into your accommodation
As stated above, one set of bedlinen and bath towels per person are provided for villa rentals. However, clients who have booked more than a single week and who don't wish to wash the linen and towels supplied can hire extra sets @ £23.50/person. Alternatively, guests can bring a change of linen and towels with them. In any event, clients are advised to bring their own beach/lounger towels, or alternatively, buy some locally on arrival.

Conference Season:
Owners of properties in and around Cannes usually demand premium rates for The Cannes Film Festival and other conference/exhibition events. However, we are often able to offer reductions of up to 30% on late availability or cancellations.

Refundable Security Deposit:
A security deposit of £500 is required for this property. It will be returned to you in full following your departure assuming that no chargeable damage has occured to the property during your stay. If you cancel your booking, any pre-payments you have made against the security deposit charge will be returned to you in full.
